Inspired by hand torn paper, this delicate high fired porcelain group has a vitrified finish. The natural color of porcelain shows through a transparent antique fired glaze. The interior surface is made shiny and nonporous by fusing a vitreous (containing glass) solution to it. The outside is in a matte finish. The series name, Strie', comes from a textile term meaning stripes
